Based in Mexico City and founded by Javier Sepulveda and siblings Eduardo Lecuona & Ximena Lecuona, Maligno Gorehouse is awakening a new generation of horror filmmakers.

As of 2025, Maligno Gorehouse is responsible for some of the most iconic horror titles in contemporary Latin American horror. Maligno debuted in 2022 with the eerie postpartum horror HUESERA by director Michelle Garza Cervera, which took home awards at top festivals like Tribeca and Sitges before becoming one of Mexico’s biggest horror box office hits. Their second production, the bizarre zombie film PÁRVULOS, by madman director Isaac Ezban, was named top sci-fi movies to watch in 2025.

In 2024, Maligno partnered with Blumhouse to produce the acclaimed horror powerhouse’s first Spanish-language film NO ME SIGAS, a Mexico City set ghost story directed by Ximena and Eduardo Lecuona, which premiered in LatAm theaters in fall of 2025.
